1951

The beginning of the economical upswing is also the beginning of the Eggersmann Enterprise Group. The construction enterprise Eggersmann found its beginning in the great commitment of XX Eggersmann, who achieved pioneering work for private, agricultural and commercial construction projects with XX employees, completely in the spirit of the times.

1963

The first invention: the tent over the building site. Many might have considered it crazy at the time – today it is the standard. The construction enterprise Eggersmann made itself largely independent of the weather with the simple but ingenious idea of simply roofing over construction sites with tents so as to be able to work without interruption.

1970

The increased performance spectrum of the construction enterprise marks a new era with a unique invention: everyone is talking about “ready for immediate occupancy“ after the Eggersmann firm, for the first time, takes over all architectural, planning and realisation tasks for the take-over of entire construction projects up to and including the initial operation phase. Up until the present day, this principle has become a broader standard to which the Eggersmann Firm Group has remained true in all enterprise areas.

1975

Agriculture is one of the most important economical areas in Germany. Agricultural production is increasingly gaining in importance and was modernised during the 1980s. Technology and economical management mark the sector which experiences considerable changes during this period. As an experienced construction firm, the Eggersmann enterprise stands at the side of clients from the agricultural sector with competence and know-how for construction projects and plant construction, developing the new circle of clients with great success.

1987

With 36 years of experience in civil engineering and by now 12 years of experience in projects from the agricultural area, the enterprise again expands its commitment: environmental technologies, which Eggersmann actively participates in developing, are a new watchword of this period. The construction of purification plants and the active development of new environmental procedures characterise the important step into a new period which will later be of great importance for the Enterprise Group.

1992

KOMPOTEC – this is the new enterprise and the beginning of a new era: Eggersmann becomes an enterprise group. The increased experience gained in environmental technology now finds its application under the name of the new, independent enterprise. In cooperation with cities and communities, composting plants are created which produce high-quality humus and earth products out of biological waste. The inter-district recycling facilities, depots and purchasing points are known up to the present day by the name of KOMPOPARK in the entire Ostwestfalen area.

2006

The spirit of the times is also this year the dominant spirit in the minds of the Eggersmann Group: the regaining of regenerative energies and the protection of natural resources are the high ideal of an entire generation which the Eggersmann Group puts into actual practice. With the founding of Eggersmann Plant Engineering and Construction, the new procedure of dry fermentation for the production of biogas is realised for the first time. KOMPOFERM^® is the new procedure for an especially effective and constant gas production. All services for the construction of recycling and biogas plants are provided by their own employees. Why? Because we remain true to our principles: being ready for immediate occupancy is our aim in plant construction as well!

2007

In cooperation with the city of Rietberg, alongside Eggersmann Plant Engineering and Construction, a further enterprise is being created under the direction of the Eggersmann Group: the four-star Hotel Lind is becoming a new meeting place for business travellers and private clients. The facility in the centre of the city of Rietberg offers a variety of features in the restaurant, hotel, seminar, and wellness areas, realised under the direction of the Eggersmann Enterprise Group and operated in their own responsibility. The success of the project is a testimony to the strength of the Eggersmann Group.

2009

Eggersmann is proof that the age of innovation has arrived. With not one but two new concepts for plant construction, Eggersmann Plant Engineering presents us with the face of new and decisive developments today: With the addition of an integrated percolate reservoir, the familiar KOMPOFERM® process has now become KOMPOFERM®plus. And with its hybrid KOMPOFERM® process, Eggersmann Plant Engineering is revolutionising waste recycling by incorporating two fermentation processes. Eggersmann’s innovative concepts for plant construction demonstrate that progress is key.

2010

The innovative power of Eggersmann Plant Engineering continues unbroken. SMARTFERM is the name of the new concept for the dry fermentation of green waste up to a volume of approx. 4,000 Mg/a. Two important characteristics of the SMARTFERM plant are its compact size and its short assembly time of only 20 workdays. References from near and far testify to the Eggersmann Group’s profile as a company doing professional work at national and international level. In Rietberg an extension to the Group’s own Lind Hotel is under construction while in distant Iraq a waste-recycling plant is being built – just two of the many projects reflecting the Group’s wide range of activities.
